Known as a neat and commodious house of a midling size, the Squire Smith Inn was originally built in 1786 and is recognized today as a historic National Trust treasure. As a bed and breakfast, the Inn offers king and queen beds with private baths in four guest rooms or two-room suites.

From Baltimore Take I-70 West to I-81 North Exit onto I-81 North (towards Pennsylvania) Exit I-81 at PA-16 (#5) towards Greencastle/Waynesboro Turn onto Buchanan Trail (Route 16 West) Travel 10.9 miles to Mercersburg (Main Street) The Inn is located to the right of the only traffic light in Mercersburg, 47 North Main Street From New York City Use the Holland Tunnel to arrive at I-78 West Follow I-78 West until you arrive at I-81 South (towards Harrisburg) Travel 84 miles on I-81 South Exit I-81 at PA-16 (#5) towards Greencastle/Waynesboro Turn onto Buchanan Trail (Route 16 West) Travel 10.9 miles to Mercersburg (Main Street) The Inn is located to the right of the only traffic light in Mercersburg, 47 North Main Street
